Copycat Cover Design?

Wow.  A fellow member of the ACFW posted this link and I thought I would share it with all of you.  It points out more than a few historical covers that are nearly identical in design.  I’m sure there are numerous reasons for it to happen – including using free public domain images, or cheap stock photography, but still interesting.  One of them is even on my reading shelf!

Enjoy!
